Patterns
This week we will be investigating patterns. We started off by reading the story ‘My Mum and Dad Make Me Laugh’ by Nick Sharratt. The children loved looking for the spots and stripes in the book. We then went to activities and explored further by making our own patterns.

Design & Technology: Textiles
The children worked in table groups to do a range of fine motor skills activities. The focus activity was sewing a felt door onto a felt house wall.
Year 2 PE Skipping
The children played some jumping warm up games before practising individual skipping techniques.
Musical Instruments in Nursery B
The children have been learning about musical instruments and exploring the sounds that the different instruments make. We sang a variety of nursery rhymes and chose the instruments to match the rhyme.
Graphic Novels
