Reception Curriculum Map
Reading
Please try and read with your child every night for 5-10 minutes. Really focus on asking questions about their book as this will help them with their reading comprehension.
Finally, if there are any questions or concerns please feel free to speak to any of us before or after the school day.

Printing with 3D Shapes
This week we are investigating 3D shapes and the children have enjoyed printing 2D shapes from them. We can spot 2D shapes within 3D shapes!
Spring Flowers
We have been using watercolours to paint our Spring Flowers, linked to our topic Desert to Garden and looking at new life. What beautiful pictures.
Number Museum
Today we investigated numbers in the environment and the children were able to make a number museum for 9 and 10 on their own!
