Given the weather forecast for the rest of the week, we took advantage of the beautiful autumn sunshine yesterday and took our play to our forest school area. The children used their muscles to lift and carry pumpkins and explore cause and effect. We found a large number of ladybirds so we observed and talked about them. We concluded our afternoon with a snack, drink and one of our favourite big book stories ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.
