Well done to our new children in Nursery who are quickly settling into new routines and making friends. We are learning to share and take turns whilst having lots of fun.

The children are meeting lots of new people and playing games together to learn each others names.

Year 6 are enjoying playing board games and chess on their penultimate morning of primary school.

Today the children enjoyed water play in tyres and tuff trays. After watching England’s highlights, we imagined being at a swimming pool or beach in Mexico. The children talked about the weather and how the water felt on their feet and legs.

As part of our mindfulness afternoon, Year 3 enjoyed taking part in peer massage. The children really enjoyed this calming activity and said it made them feel relaxed and peaceful.

The children are having a wonderful week outdoors in forest school with the  sunshine. They are exploring with water, playing in the mud kitchen, practising balancing, playing parachute games and building strong friendships. They also enjoyed story time outdoors with an ice-pop to cool down. 

Last week, Y5 had an excellent time at St Joseph’s Prayer Centre.

The children took part in a range of workshops celebrating differences and recognising the qualities in each other.
