Today in the outdoor resource are the children are investigating classroom objects to see if they float or sink in a bowl of water. They were very excited to see if their predictions were correct or not!

In our final lesson of this unit we tested different matrials to see if they were magnetic. It was great fun.

Year 1 Science-What are materials?
We have been talking about materials in class today. We looked at different objects and matched the correct label to each one. We thought about objects at home and what material they are made from.
