Observational Drawings in Nursery
The topic in art this week was observational drawings with coloured pencils. This helped the children develop their mark making skills whilst concentrating on colour, shape and size. They drew some beautiful, bright sunflowers on big paper.

Building Relationships Outdoors in Nursery
The children are enjoying talking, taking turns and playing together outdoors. They are collecting natural resources to make potions, hot chocolates and cups of warm tea. They are also practising moving and balancing on the the equipment.
All Aboard the English Martyrs Bus Tour!
After reading Naughty Bus the children decided to create their own bus in their independent learning. More and more children were finding chairs to pull up so that they could have a place on the bus. The children began singing ‘The Wheels on the Bus’ song.
The ‘Glory Be’ prayer
The Glory Be Prayer is a traditional prayer of the Catholic faith. For children in Early Years, they experience the prayer being said out loud.
