This morning our Nursery and Reception children came together for a beautiful Harvest Assembly.  It was also a chance to thank God for our wonderful world, God’s creation, linking in with our ‘Creation and Covenant’ branch of learning in RE.  We retold the creation story from Genesis.  The children made links between the food we buy in our shops and crops grown.  Reception shared their harvest song ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’ and Nursery sang ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’ and the Rainbow song with British Sign Language.  We joined together in a litany of thanks.  Harvest donations will add to the school collection for Sefton Community Pantry. Thank you children for a beautiful celebration and amazing faith in action.
