Following on from our vegetable shop role play we used some of our vegetables to make a special “English Martyrs Soup”. The children peeled and chopped. We discussed the shapes and textures of the vegetables. This afternoon we enjoyed eating our soup in the woodland area. We heard words such as ‘delicious, tasty and sweet’ to describe the taste!
