During today's meeting the children discussed the designs for our upcoming Social Signature Superstars Award, that replaces the old Star of the Term award.
So far, they have helped co-create the award by making the award half-termly not just termly; requesting that the teachers don't choose the superstar but instead choose a shortlist of 3-5 children from which the class can vote for their Social Singature Superstar each half-term.
The ideas they had for the certificates were absolutely brilliant and once again they took votes on the ideas suggested and were enthusiastic in making changes to improve each other's ideas!
The final design will be launched at next week's first ever Social Signature Superstars award assembly, where we hope to have Dr Pete Hawkin and Helen Hawkin present to witness this great occasion!
