Our two Year 6 boys were winners of our estimation station. The children had to work out how many dots there were in total in the jar of dice. There were 81 dice in total and each die has 21 spots, therefore there were 1701 spots. One boy guessed there were 79 dice and did the maths accordingly and the other guessed 83! Both boys were equal numbers away from the actual figure, so it was only fair that they both won a prize.
