Virtual Reality Science in Year 6

Year 6 throughly enjoyed dissecting one of our pupils today to see how the circulatory system works. The brave pupil donned a very clever ‘Augmented Reality T-Shirt’ which simulated what was going on inside the body. We delved into blood vessels and looked at red and white blood cell functions, before exploring how the blood flows around the body. We learnt about all the key features of the heart and now we understand how the components, including the pulmonary vein/artery, aorta and vena cava work. No Year 6 pupils were harmed in this activity 🙊 😀❗️
