National Road Safety Week 2018

We made the most of National Road Safety Week 2018, by holding special assemblies, running poster competitions and raising awareness of how to keep our children safe when out and about on their bikes and crossing the road. We ordered the special packs that were on offer from Brake Charity (http://www.brake.org.uk/)

Beep Beep! Day

As a highlight in the middle of the week, we held a special Beep Beep! Day where all children were invited to wear stripes with their uniforms. It was well received and many children took part in going stripy for the day! We also held a special assembly where we invited Margie, our crossing patrol lady in to school, to remind us of her golden rules for keeping the children safe when crossing the road. We also presented her with flowers and a special lollipop card signed by all children in school.
