History of Football Grounds
To celebrate the final men’s game at Goodison Park, the children created fact files about the stadiums of Liverpool.
They completed their own research as well as describe some of their own personal experiences of going to each ground.

Self service snack time
Our snack table is always a favourite area of nursery. We encourage independence by children choosing their own healthy snack, taking it to a table to eat, chatting to their friends and adults in nursery and washing up their own dishes afterwards.
Creating and making using natural materials
Our children love using natural materials to enhance their play dough learning experiences. This week they made some wonderful creations using buttercups.
Investigating soil
In our topic of rocks we have been learning about soil and what it is made from. We had great fun examining samples from our school field.
Battleships
This week in Mathematics, Year 5 have been learning about coordinates.
To show our understanding, the children played a game of Battleships against one another.

Throwing and Catching in Nursery B
Today we have been practising throwing and catching skills with a bean bag. We moved the bean bag around our bodies, passed it from one hand to the other and then threw the bean bag up in the air catching it with both hands. We also used hoops to practise throwing into a target. Well done children…
