Art Club!
Some children in Reception have been attending art club after school! This week the children explored finger painting. We explored the difference between abstract and figurative paintings and the children then decided on their own designs before painting.
Building in Nursery B
The children have been building together using wood and crates. They were very imaginative creating an obstacle course, a fire truck and then a helicopter. There was lots of balancing, jumping and travelling. Great teamwork!
Reception Sports Day
Reception had a brilliant day competing in our sports day yesterday! We took part in lots of races, obstacle courses and balancing events. Well done to all the children! Pictured is our winning team and fasted boy and girl in Reception!
Tennis
This week we have been focusing on our control of the tennis ball.
We started by playing team games with involved concentrating on keeping the ball on the racquet.
After, we worked on keeping control of the ball when hitting it up and down.
Nursery’s Sports Day

Play-dough fun
The children love making play dough with an adult at the start of the week. Lately the children have been using shells and pebbles to enhance their creations.
