Imagine Concert a resounding success!
A small group of Year 6 & Year 5 pupils prepared a 6 minute performance ready for a show at Southport Arts Centre on Wednesday 11th November. This was a Sefton-wide project, with schools taking part from Bootle to Southport over three nights. It was a concert in memory of John Lennon and the finale of the night saw all the children taking to the stage and singing Imagine with candles. On Wednesday night, English Martyrs performed alongside children from Litherland Moss, Our Lady of Walsingham, Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Oswalds Primary schools. Many thanks to all the parents and family members who made the trip to give such welcome support to the children - it was great to see so many people there! We were very proud of all the children who took part, as they were a credit to us.
